I always knew I wanted to help people. That’s been my North Star through college, internships and now in post-grad life. At first, I thought this core value would bring me to a career in sports, but after several internships with the Vikings and Timberwolves, I realized that path wasn’t for me after all.
Switching gears, I worked in marketing for a financial services company and my eyes were opened to the life-changing work financial planners do. I knew I wanted to help individuals and families reach their financial goals and turn their dreams into reality.
Coincidentally, a passion for financial planning runs in the family. My grandpa, Chad Piehl, founded Zephyrus Financial Services and has since passed the reins onto my uncle, Tim. You could say I have big shoes to fill!
As the director of marketing and an unlicensed sales assistant, I will get to use my marketing expertise to help grow the firm and have a front-row seat to the ins and outs of financial planning. Over the summer, I plan on studying to become a financial advisor. I’m excited to shadow Tim and Amanda, who have decades of experience between the two of them, and dive into the important work of helping families plan for their financial futures.
